I have completed the installation of the inside door rubber....Is there suppose to be any rubber insulation on the actual door?
I noted that the door does have an indent on the top going all the way around to the door lock...
Thanks for any help

I was just talking with a JimCartertruckparts person yesterday about the cab windlace I ordered for my '46 and she told me there is nothing that goes on the door like a modern truck. The windlace goes on the cab in a "slot" and there's a separate seal along the bottom of the door. I ordered both but have not installed them yet as my truck is in the shop.

Dan Thanks it was fairly easy to install the windlace. It sure quieted down the noise.
Hope your installation goes smoothly
