on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 69 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 69 | we have a book called 1947- 1954 TRUCK Factory Assembly Manual. the book is quite informative, but i have a quick question. on many diagrams there are bolt, nuts, and washers and they typically have a 5-7 number code before the word bolt, nut, or washer. Does anyone know what these codes mean? there is no index in the back or a chart decoding the sizes or part numbers. any help?
For example: 106285 BOLT
the book looks like this \http://bookie.lloydsautolit.com/Shop%20Manual%20Covers/GENERAL%20MOTORS/1947-1954%20CHEVY%20TRUCK%20SERVICE%20REPAIR%20MANUAL.jpeg

But good luck finding one. And the master parts catalouge will probably be quite helpful, thanks for posting that.

They show up on eBay every so often; and, a person on oldGMCtrucks.com sells a CD version that includes 1950.
