#57393 03/04/2006 11:06 PM | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 192 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 192 | okay so i got the front end completely removed for cleanining and new bushings etc,,, and i decided to pull the pan off the 235 to clean it and the pump, and got to looking at the cam.....i saw the lobe that works the fuel pump looks worn,,looks like a groove in it about 1/8 inch thick...is this normal? :confused: | | |

#57397 03/05/2006 5:51 AM | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 41 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 41 | The 56 motor I'm rebuilding had a nasty looking lobe where the fuel pump rides also. Had no history on the motor, other than it was running when pulled. I replaced the cam and lifters anyway.
