41Chevy Shop Shark 4 Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 507 El Cajon CA	Well let me see if I have the question right, I had to consult my cards for a clairification of the question. :confused: :confused: Replacing a 235 in line 6 with a 350 V8 will the stock 3 speed trans bolt to the new V8 motor without modification?? Not an expert but I would think some modification would be in order. Someone with more info will no doubt correct my thinking if it is incorrect. 61apache Wrench Fetcher 6 Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 61 Augusta, GA	The pilot bearing for a 350 should be fine, you will need a different you may need a different trans bellhousing for a v8 depending on the year of the truck. More info on vehicle would be helpful.
