So what's the ask these days on a rust-free original front fender? How about rust-free inner fenders?

Local junk yard has a '63 with a perfect driver's side fender and inner fender; $45 for the pair. I know that's a good price, but I really don't NEED it, and I need to break the habit of bringing home "good deals."

It's a little better than the driver's side fender I currently have, so if it's worth the hassle, I'll get the junkyard fender and flip the rust-free fender I already have. (has a few small dings in it, but nothing bad--I just haven't gotten around to popping them out yet). I've already go a pair of good inner fenders, but again, if it's worth the hassle, I'll get it and flip it. (always need project money!)

a new repop up here in canuk land is 220 buks for a outer fender a new repop inner is about 240 buks rustfree orinional is best thicker metal but you do not see them up here,the tin worms ate them all thats dirt cheap id buy them. the last pair of rust free inners cost me 150 for the pair,I was jumpin for joy when i got those!

An NOS fender goes north of $450 US these days. I'd say something with a 2 in the first position should get both parties what they want. You need great pictures and lots of 'em though for your listing.

Brad, I say go for it. You can sell that combo for more than you will pay for it. I'd be all over that. Heck, if I had the dollars right now I'd pay you to get it and ship it to me.... That's one of those things you just can't pass up. You will easily make your money back on that deal.

Okay, I went and got 'em today. It was 59 degrees outside when I took Boy Wonder to school, so naturally I thought it best to wait until 10:30 when the sun was good and high, it was mid-80s and not a whisper of a breeze. Wore a black T-shirt, too, just for good measure.
Two hours to get them off and in the truck.
This fender is MINT, as opposed to the replacement I already have in the shop, which is nearly "mint." Couple small dents in mine, and a little surface rust, but no rot in the rear.

The inner is good too, but I've already got a pair of powder-coated inners waiting to go on.

What's the best way to ship a fender or inner fender? They're kinda bulky, and I imagine a box would be expensive.

I'd have to go 45 miles to get to a Greyhound station. What have you guys done?

Yes go for it and get um. You can never have too many parts. HAHAHAHA May want to open up a both a swap meet. Good parts always make good trade \material for something you might need down the road.
