How many posts have there been on this issue hey!!!I don't have them on my 63 GMC sub and I have never seen a photo of them.

Here is the thing...a friend has a set and I might just talk him into selling.....so what are they worth he wants to know. Help me out here guys!

It seems like the going price is $100 each. (!)
Keeping an eye on ebay, every now and then you find them cheaper, or if someone local is parting out a Suburban and they don't know what they're worth.

Brad.... is that a 100 a side or a piece for the 4? Why are they so rare. Did they not last? Anyone have photos of them?

That's the price I've seen per window: $400 for four sliders. (fortunately, my truck only has middle row seating, so I only needed 2!). They're rare because they're held in with friction tape, or glass channel tape, and after years of pushing the latch forward to slide the window forward, they just pushed off the edge of the glass. Then they probably got stuck in someone's house, tool box, garage shelf, whatever, and lost.
Same thing with Suburban rear seats... there must be garages all over the country using those as couches, because hardly any Suburbans have them anymore.

Thanks Brad.....My burb came with the 3rd seat but missing the second.
I like the added room in the cargo bay.

I've got the same deal on mine. You can put a TON of stuff in that cargo area.
I saw a really nice '65 a few weeks ago that had all the original seats, with a tail gate, and the third seat was right next to the tail gate. I bet you could only get grocery sacks in there between the seat and the gate.

I would like to have a short middle seat though... We've hauled Boy Wonder and his merry band of delinquents a couple times, and that third seat would be nice. 12-14 year old boys strapped 6 wide in the middle seat doesn't work well.

So do they look like this ? Only have these two. I know they dont fit my AD burb.

These may be darn close and are $6.00-$9.00. Boatfix.com part no. 0954DPOSTS by Perko. they are also close to 55-59 Suburban sliding window handles if this is what you are speaking of. if the 60-66 have a lock incorporated into them, these will probably NOT work. 55-59 have a separate lock.
