| | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | The basic box itself is the same, but there are some differences in the cross sills and the bed boards. In the case of the '55-mid-'57s 1/2 and 3/4 ton longbeds, there is also a 6" difference in length, with the earlier bed being shorter.

Length is probably the biggest concern with this swap, the 60's beds being a lot longer than your 55 bed. Of course there are two different bed designs within the 60-66 series and it depends whether you have the 60-62 or 63-66 bed.
