All the pictures in the older threads are dead, if anyone has one please post it.

I am looking for a picture of a cab that has been painted with Rustoleum 7272. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | Well Fern, if you're not looking for the correct color then why don't ya just pickup a can of Rustoleum 7272. $3.99 at the Menards or any big box store, mask of the dash and shoot it to see whether you like it or not.
The number that I gave you is the PPG off set number for the original Ditzler color. Most PPG paint dealers can mix that up and put it into a rattle can or if you would rather, just grab a pint and a Preval sprayer and shoot a small section.
The paint you choose all depends on what your goal is, be it preservation or customization.

Just spray the base coat, no clearcoat and the sheen will be just about perfect for the interior. I use it on the bare metal as the original paint was applied, no base just clean it well and use a conversion coating on it.
