I used the harness from YNZ on my 38. My harness was the best of both worlds. It has the vinyl insulation with the cloth over that so as the cloth ages & starts to go away, the modern insulation is still there to prevent shorts.

The harness had cloth covering and correct wiring connectors, it also came with a laminated wiring schematic (2ft x 3ft.) that now hangs on my garage wall.
