I saw a 60-61 Chevy cab molding with sail panel covers going for over $300 on ebay, and it reminded me of these. http://s660.photobucket.com/albums/uu326/Old64Suburban/GMC%20molding/ Anyone know if these are correct and/or rare? I used to subscribe to the GMC board but quit, so if a member can ask about these there, we might get a learned opinion. I know a little about the GMCs and think these are correct, but not positive.

Yes, Those are correct for the Chrome options package, BUT if you are going to be a complete package you also nee the 2 small "Custom" badges that go right behind each pillar trim piece. The you need the windshield trim as well as the bumpers trimmed oput in chrome, Check out Jolly's site for some pictures.

Also Yes it is rare to some members, I would not be too quick to sell them off.

That 3 piece setup is correct for 60 and 61 GMC's. (Not Chevy)
To date I have not run across a '60 with that trim which also had the above mentioned "custom" badges. The body side moldings would be the tough part to source. Perhaps that truck has them as well. Those are worth some money as well. They are 2 years only and are different than the 62 and up mouldings.
So if that truck in the photos is yours to aquire parts from, then get the wide windshield chrome moldings, the body side moldings, the 3 piece back of cab and side trims, and also look for chrome window surrounds of the roll-up and vent windows. Those are rare and valuable if in serviceable condition. And then PM me! smile

The hood bird you are looking for is the same from 59-61. So you can expand your search. It will be quite expensive to find a good one. Jake from LA is the first poster in this thread. PM him from his name.

The 61 doesn't have the side trim. It does look to have the back of cab trim, with the side pillar moldings though. The 61 is the top 2 shots. The 63 is the bottom 2 shots.
