I've been trying to determine if my otherwise all-original 65 suburban has had some paint work done to the interior. On the rear side panels (under the windows), there are absolutely no signs anywhere of overspray on rubber, or other tell-tale clues. Nothing to give the impression of a re-do, except for the quality of the white/fawn two tone masking. it's just plain TERRIBLE. The white center section wanders all over the detail lines in the metal and the rounded corners are lame, hand done choppy angles. Could this be factory? If so, it must have been done late on a Friday, or just after a martini lunch or something. Does anybody have a known original paint interior that shows the same lack of quality? Or has someone done a superb job making a really lousy job look original? Anybody?
