The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop Getting closer

Alcus and I have been working hard for the past few weekends and we are making very good progress on his '54. I got the hood painted Saturday and then we mounted the rear fenders that were painted the weekend before. We bolted them up loose for now until we get the running boards painted and ready to install.

Dang, that is lookin' real good, Ralph! It's amazing what these ol' gals can look like when you get them painted up.

Thanks Bears63. Hoping to paint the running boards and the grill this coming Saturday. After that, all that will be left will be the front and rear bumpers. Once we finish putting the truck back together we will start our next project, a 1973 Nova that belonged to Al's father. It was purchased when new but it is in pretty rough shape now.
