I have a 1959 Bluebird Bus that had a vacuum shift unit on the differential. I was lucky enough the other day to find a 1955-57 GMC truck with an electric unit that appears to be in good shape. Eveything bolts right up. My problem is tow-fold. First, the rest of the wiring on the parts truck is missing. Does anybody have a diagram? Second, I have now converted to an automatic tansmission. Will that cause me any issues?

Are you saying that your going to change rear ends or just the 2 speed shifter?

Look in the Tech Tips area. You may find a wiring schematic or Shop Manual.
