I just put a universal in my 42 1/2 ton, went to take her for a cruise and will not go into gear, just grinds all 3 gears. Truck sat for month and 1/2, I adjusted the 1year old clutch, still grinds, anyone ever had this problem?
sometimes the clutch will rust to the flywheel and not release. I would try starting it in gear to see if you can free the clutch from the flywheel. Make sure nothing is in front or behind you.
