Part 1
I have a ez wiring harness going to the new double socket tailights. The harness has a park, turn, back up line. The new tailight has a black and green wire coming from it.
Is this how the connection should be made?

Taillight Green to park,turn (Harness)
Taillight Black to rev (Harness)
Add rev switch to 4-speed with rev line (harness)
Ground wire from lamp assem to frame

Part 2
I have also wired the headlights and new double socket parking/turn lights. I have both high and low beam headlamps but no park lights. I grounded to the fender well, Need to verify, but probably needs to go to the frame?
Wired as follows:
parklight black-brown park (harness)
parklight green-LT blue Left/Blue Right (harness)

not all clear, and it depends on the particular harness [should have a list or diagram with it], but the rear lights have a taillight wire and a brakelight wire, the turn signals feed via the brake lights and use that element, the brighter one, no turn connection to rear except via brake light wire - and the backup lights will be a seperate light, unless you have something with a clear lense portion and a separate bulb, which mustn't be the case with a 2 wire light

usually the "universal" color code is black to tail, not sure about the green, but that must be the one from the signals for the brake

for the front, brown is the parklight element and blue the turn element, light blue for left, dark blue for right, black will be ground, usually run into the engine compartment and attached to something close like the rad support

Part 1: There is no back up light in a standard type tail light housing. If you want back up lights you will need a separate light. The 2 wires in your tail light housing are for brake/turn light and tail light. You need to determine which is which.

Part 2: Sounds like a ground problem. Grounding cab to frame may solve it as fenders may be isolated from frame ground but are bolted to the cab. If that doesn't solve it, ground the inner fenders to the frame.
