I'm looking for a picture or information on how the weatherstrip retainer is positioned along bottom of door for my 59 1/2 ton. I've seen the pictures for the AD but was hoping to see one for the TF. Is there a specific location or is it centered in the door. I dont want to close the door to find out its on wrong. Im having a hard time seeing how this works. It almost looks like its the wrong one.

this help? there should be screw holes where the retainer goes [yes, centered], it squashes the seal some what into the corner against the pinch flange .... note there's also small clips at the corners

Thanks for the picture. It makes sense now. Unfortunately I have the wrong retainers. The tags say 55-59 but its different than what you show. I bought it from a company several months ago so I guess Im stuck with it. Maybe when I figure out what it is to I can sell them.

Brian - suprised a supplier would be listing an incorrect part - took a pic of a set of new ones I have just to be sure yours aren't right - if this isn't what you have [about 30" long, 6 slightly oval holes], maybe post a pic and ask 'what are these' in one of the forums

Thats not what I have. Mine are shaped like a "J" or an "L". They do have 6 oval holes and are around 31". Not sure how to post photos on this site.

sounds like they're close, might need to try them upside down and downside up, or even modify them a bit - in the pic of my hand, they're in the position they'd go under the drivers door, the angle to the left pushes against the rubber, they're SS and the same dimensions as yours, maybe you could open the angle a bit to more of a V?.... if they're really wrong, might be 47-55, maybe even sold as 47-59, which would be wrong
