I'm sure this seems like a silly question to you old pro's out there but here it goes. Do I line up upper edge of beltline on upper cowel and rear panels to door? I'm guessing the pin stripe on door of my 52 accents lower edge of beltline on panels and not the actual lower edge of beltline on door? Hope that made sense!

The beltline on the door should line up with the cab belt line. It's the most obvious visual and the most difficult to move so get that lined up and deal with any other fit issues after you accomplish that.

Can you provide detail on the beltline stripe--proper size, color, and placement? I have a '48 Chevy 1/2 ton that is Forester Green. Thanks.

Don't remember where? but I once saw a photo that explained the belt line pin stripe location. It showed the bump where the wiper fastens. The pin stripe was on center of the shaft & followed along completely around the belt line. It looked like it was slightly down from the center of the belt line. But it looked right when it aligned itself with the front windshield belt area. Hope this help.

vickraft has described it quite well. Jim Carter sells a pin-stripe instruction sheet which contains a little more detail.

JC also sells pinstriping tape, etc which includes the instruction sheet. And, JC sells tape for painting the pinstripe yourself (we used it and it makes this a neat and easy job).
