Does anyone sell a volt gauge instead of the amp gauge for a stock gauge assembly for a '49 chevy ?

I'm not aware of any. If there is someone will post it. You'll most likely have to put an accessory voltmeter under the dash.

You can do what many of us have done that want to keep the orginial look. Have someone change the guts of your gauge to a voltmeter. I used John Wolf Co., there are several others. It looks like it came on my ride in 1939.
