Any help would be great. As i know pretty much nothing about older four wheel drives. Thanks Matthew

I'll have to check the manual to be certain on that. There is also a PTO on the drivers side.

But i dont . It looks like the pics K10 put a link too. On more question is this a good 4x4 to have behind a 350? I have read that they some times have a over heating issues? I am look at making this a daily driver. And it can get hot in Texas. Any help or other ideas is a great help. Matthew

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 788 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 788 | it is a T221 t/c. there are only 3 d/shafts coming from it. the small 4th shaft that you see protruding is a shifter rail. ron | | | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 112 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 112 | the T-221 is NOISY, it has straight cut gears...also, the output shafts are roller bearing supported which have a reputation for wearing fast and they run warm/hot. If it is in good shape, put some lucas oil stabilizer in it....it will reduce the temp, and some of the noise. They are just about as strong as a 205 if in good shape. Rebuild kits are still available.
