I have a 1952 GMC that I need to buy new door glass for. Has anyone put the 1 piece glass in instead of the 2 piece with wing glass? So my question is can I remove the wing window and add the window channel from an earlier door? Thanks. Scott

I think you'd be better off getting a '50 or earlier door without the wing windows.
Btw...a little friendly info...a GMC of that era is a
"New Design". Chevrolet is "Advance Design". (not "Advanced")

This topic has been discussed a few times over the years....
There are aftermarket kits that are very different from the original 1 piece set-ups,which have the metal frames around the door glass.
As Ghostrider said,you would be probably better trying to source original '50 or earlier AD doors.
It would save a lot of hassle, and IMO look much better.
