There is an entry somewhere that talks about using a pulley from a Ford!! | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Try an old time wrecking yard or a swap-meet. Take your old one for a guide. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | That would be me who used a Ford pulley, and it fits perfectly and is the right diameter for the late 235. I think it was from a 300 Ford although it may have been a Y block, I don't remember. However, if you are planning to run a mechanical fan I would recommend doing the adapter plate and using the earlier water pump. Clearance with the short pump still isn't very good and the fan needs to be higher up on the radiator to be effective.
