I SEARCHED THE NET OVER TO FIND TECH INFO ON INLINERS! I have a 65 chevy 1/2 ton 2wd. 292 inline 6. Muncie 4 speed tranny. I am interested in bolt on performance pieces to help her breathe a bit better. The motor has recently been rebuilt and runs strong. The current single barrel carb is less than stellar and it acts like it has a problem...stumble at initial throttle open. I am not interested in restoring any of these pieces. Could you help me find Intake for a single four barrell carb and headers. I have a Holley 650 carb will that work or is it too big. Thanks in advance for any response.

My plan is to use a 500 edelbrock. Unless you go with a bigger cam and headwork, the 650 may be too much carb. Contact Tom Langdon for any high performance parts, He is reasonable and you can get new stuff for what some people are paying on ebay for used parts. Check out the links section for his info. Good luck with the project.

This site is operated by a fellow Bolter. (I have never had the pleasure of meeting Ray but he sure seems to be both knowledgeable and capable.) He details the changes he made to his 64 C10 with 292. Changes include intake, carb and headers to name a few. I think that you will both enjoy and benefit from Ray's web site. And WELCOME to the Stovebolt. Everyone enjoys and benefits here too! | | |

It covers all the last generation inlines and really gets into the 292. You can get it online cheap. | | |
