For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 81 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 81 | but does anyone know of any sources out there that give grants or financial assistance for the restoring classic trucks? I am not talking about loans. I saw a story on TV show where a guy had restored an old motorcycle and I am almost positive I hear him say he got most of it paid for through a grant. For the life of me I cant remember how he got it.

For the vast majority of us, free funds would more likely be found over-the-rainbow or from a rich and senile relative?
Still, it does not hurt to ask and to have hope. You'd never get assistance if you never asked.
There are around 20,000 members here. Maybe someone has had success in obtaining a grant?

I just thought maybe there might some sort of long shot is all. Thank you tclederman for the small light of hope even if I don't think I'll find what I was looking for. It was worth a try I guess.
