Not trying to create one those show trucks that go up and down. I want to carry heavy loads and have this thing ride level. Already put new springs with an extra leaf. I thought it would be really cool to put a pair of those big bags that you see on tractor/trailers on my rear axle. (Not just Airides.)There must be a tractor/trailer bone yard somewhere with a bunch of those things laying around. Anyone know how to obtain those things and what sort of compressor would I need to keep them up? Do y'all think this would work or is this just a crazy idea?

My x-bro-n-law put a set on his mid 90's Ford PU to help w/towing a trailer. They only had to be used when his truck was under a load. Any good trailer parts place should have them. He used a set up like THIS on his t ruck...Joe

I installed Firestone air helper springs on my 48 6400, but haven't used them yet.

Installed the same thing on my Dad's 05 F250, and they work as advertised, help keep the truck level with a truck load of Detroit Diesels in the back, about 4,000 lb. Also helpful for one trailer we pull with to much tongue weight.
