im new to stovebolt & from Auckland New Zealand, i am looking into buying a 64 panel truck that has been imported from Altlanta it has a vin # 4c146a11--- for a carry all - tailgate model which it has, but appears never to have had seats in back or side windows - its a 327 powerglide with disc brake front & manual steering. can someone advise was this a real option or has this be modified from stock- thanks ian

The 327 began in 62, it could have been an option but not likely for a panel. panels were specifically for product delivery (mine was a bakery truck), disc brakes were not an option. The powerglide i'm almost sure would have came with it since mine is an original automatic (engine and trans were not in truck) there would be no windows. if it had side windows it would be a suburban which came w/tailgate glass type of rear doors-panels came with "barn doors' also there would be no back seats and original fronts would have been buskets. you can ad back seat which what i'm doing. Mine will have bucket front and two short benches in back. any ?s email @ [email protected] | | |
