Finally got the ol girl back from paint and body.
I would like to start with the window install. I understand the techniques, but would only like to do this once.
Is there a difference between one vendor's rubber and another?
since i'm here, what about glass distributors?

Steele Rubber in my opinion is hands down the best on the market.
As far as glass, if it's for your 52 then find a local glass shop to cut all you flat glass. That way it's local & if there is a problem you won't have to worry about shipping to or from..Joe

Ditto on the rubber! Steele is the best. All of my rubber has been on the truck for almost 20 years - all from Steel Rubber and all in good condition!

Good call on the glass. I kept, what was left of the glass out of the old rust bucket. Should make good patterns though.
One last question...wiring harnesses that looked 'exactly' like the original. I see on the Stovebolt site there are 10 or so vendors. Any preference?

The fact you have good templates should help with the overall cost.

To be honest some of the aftermarket kits are less than accurate. If your old glass is original it should at least fit!
