A pair! Wow he can lift the entire truck off the ground. Boy if I could find another for the deal I got today! I'd be in business!

Get a good set of 4 jack stands and just jack one end up at a time.

NEVER GET UNDER ANYTHING WITHOUT JACK STANDS IN PLACE

Enjoy your purchase safely.

Aint that the truth! I was about 17 under my El Camino with the rear end in the air with 2 bumper jacks. Mom pulled in the driveway in a hurry to grab something she'd forgotten. She jumped out of her La Mons (automatic) and forgot to put it in park. I wondered why I was feeling like the work area was getting smaller when I rolled over and saw the bumper of the La Mons pushing the El Camino forward. OFF THE JACKS! Man I hauled my little hiney out from under there and was standing to the side when Mom came out. Just then the El Caming fell. She looked at me and said, "You need to be careful working under your car." Ok, Mom. How on earth did I get to be 18? Much less 57?

Make sure there in lock position when you use one of the air jacks and the wheels blocked. I saw a guy jack up a car to change a tire and did not have the tires on the car blocked and when he was taking off the wheel lugs the car rolled forward off the jack and made a nice dent in the trunk. The boss just about had a Sh$$ fit when he saw the damage it done. They are a great tool if used right.

all good advice - I have jack stands & NEVER go under a car w/o them.

Remember - of all the people in the world I would like to hurt, I am not one of them!

I used them and they are strong air jacks. Now seems like a good time to remind everyone to check the locking dogs on their jack stands (especially the China built ones).I see more of them failing of late.
