Anyone know if this is 'normal' for a 1957 Chevy with a 235cui?? Its not real bad, but obvious enough for me to start to worry. The engine, as well as the distributor has been rebuilt.
THANKS

not terribly unusual, the movement necessary for the vacuum advance can create some wear in 50 years grin as long as it still runs fine I wouldn't worry - if it gets real bad you might need a ground wire on it as I did on a 46 once, still worked fine and stayed timed

If you are talking about a circular wobble at idle, that is quite common, at least on the early sixes. I have seen it stated that it is nothing to worry about.
