I am redoing the wiring on my 51 styleline. I was wondering what is the best way to ground the fuel sending unit.
I have installed electric wipers from Newport and connected them to the fuse panel but they do not work. I have checked checked the switch to see if it is getting power and it is but that is about it.
any ideas? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the sending unit should ground itself via it's mounting screws, otherwise just run a wire from one of those screws to a good ground spot .... might check the wiper motor direct from a battery and see if you got a defect, and it may need a ground wire, if it has rubber mounts
