Pretty stoked about how my modifications to the ole '65 C10 are coming out.

Got the front 15 x 7 aluminum slots from a fellow "bolter", rear are 15 x 8-1/2, got those from AKH Vintage Wheels. Tires are Goodyear Silent Armor, 33x12.5x15 in the rear, 235-75-15 in the front.

Check out the pic's at my webshots link.

They look very nice John,I like the spare tire too! I finally drove my truck today for the first time this year, that was fun.

Those rims do look pretty sharp on there.

Thanks for the encouraging words.

I wanted someting that was "period correct" for the mid 60's... hard to go wrong with aluminum slots.

Here is a really cool article that chronicals the history of various aftermarket racing wheels. Neat stuff!

Nice. Does it feel like you're always going downhill with that wheel/tire combo?

The first picture is deceiving. It does have some rake but I just installed new rear coil springs that haven't "settled" yet & I don't have the wood in the floor of the bed yet.

That being said, as a child of the late 60's, early seventies, I have always liked the "rake" look.
