can someone out the please give me the exact dimentions of the 55/56 chev grill.i have a 59 and id like to see if i can fabricate it in . thanks rick

Here is a 55 grill.

The bottom horizontal dimension (51 inches) is the wide point. The upper (43 3/4 inches) is at a seam line and the vertical dimensions (10 15/16 inches and 10 7/8 inches) follow the vertical grill bars. Sorry about the units of measure. I don't use a metric tape very often.

thanks peter. thats exactly what i needed. as for that metric #&@$#%&&*%. it was invented by some french man with too much time on his hands. dont have much use for it.
