Hello everyone,
My 63 was purchased from Stowe Vermont in 87. AN original California truck that was brought to a scrap yard in New York State and was retrieved by the guy I bought it from. It failed an Ministry of Transport inspection three weeks after I plated it in Canada. So began the venture of repairs with the moto "well if you take that off you might as well take that off".It was reassembled after 3 years in the body shop in 24 hrs.with the help of seven of my friends of which Craig and myself spent the full 24 hrs.We then put it in the biggest show in Montreal and took home some awards. I've been adding to the many Custom Accessories found on this truck.Grille Guard,Matched Horn,Kleerview Washer Bottle. Midland Power Brake Unit,2 Speed Wiper,Hood Ornament-Jet,Chrome Hubcaps,16" original wheels widened to 9.5",Bright package,Custom Cab,Deluxe Heater,Cigarette Lighter,Throttle Cable,Tachometer,Vacuum Guage,Gauge Dash,Deluxe Seat,Litter Container,Glove Compartment Light,Clock, Compass,Day/Night mirror,Battery Warmer,Ventshades,Radio and Antenna,Arm Rests,Right Hand Visor, Door Locks,Side Rails,Flare Kit,Flag Kit,Seat Belts,Accelerator Pedal Cover,Locking Gas Cap,Reverse Lights,Jack Assembly. To yet be installed Cool Pack Air Conditioning,Power Assist Steering,Correct Sliding Rear Window,Spotlamps won't be satisfied till I have them all.

The 64 GMC was found by some friends of mine who claimed they had seen a "truck like yours" for sale. To pretty to pass up.

The 66 K10,I saw this truck when I had a 62 K10 20 years ago. While visiting in the area where I first saw it, I was speeking to a guy with a 66 GMC who wanted the box off of it but didn't speak english so I translated for him and ended up with the rest of the truck. It has a Braden PTO driven winch on it.

You have a nice driver there. Do you know of Scott's Trucks in Alberta. Has a lot of repro stuff for the Aerotrucks. Take your time and you'll have something to be proud of. Floors are easy cause they don't need to be seen after. Did the floor in my GMC Myself with a cheap Mig.These trucks didn't come with paint where Gm couldn't spray to so the cab supports rust out easy. For your Albertan roads you might consider homemade mudflaps that run up higher into the wheel wells so they can take the beating away from the cab supports and floor.I buy transport truck mudflaps for material cause there cheap. Keep us updated on your progress and especially those great Alberta finds..
