I have a 64 GMC 1500 and the PS control unit seems to have lost its control... The entire PS unit was installed by the PO and has never worked quite right and leaks a lot. Right now the steering wheel wants to go full left all the time. I suspect the control unit either needs replaced or rebuilt. Anyone been down this road with advice??

Thanks.

Nope, but I'd bet a new or rebuilt unit would be the answer. Dave
