What was used to glue or stick this to the panel? Denny Graham Sandwich, IL

Like Bruce said, 3M makes a very good spray adhesive, 3M Super 77. Should be able to get it at the flaps (Napa carries it) or body shop supply.

I'm thinking more along the lines of an asphalt based calking/adhesive in the tube. DAP makes one that might work well. DG

From what I could tell, the original stuff had the appearance of undercoating. It worked OK, but I had to keep the felt taped up for quite a while before the undercoating set enough to hold. 3M makes a product called body schutz that I would investigate also. Appearance is not that important on the roof, but I wanted that black "tar" showing through the unused stamped holes in the toeboards.

Found this and it is black. http://www.amazon.com/3M-Schutz-Rub...automotive&qid=1245346932&sr=8-1Did you use the same weight in the roof as you did on the floor and did you use a piece in the door? I know it wasn't originally in the doors but I do see it behind the headliner, which I still have in place. Denny G.
