I just purchased LMC's 2-1/2 drop spindles and 4 inch drop rear springs for my 61 Apache and was wondering if anyone else has done the same on these trucks. Feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

Have you swapped out your front end so the drop spindles will work? You have a trsion bar set up in the front of your truck and those spindles are for the 63-66 trucks. Maybe I am wrong...do they make a spindle for the 61? If so then I need to buy that kit too

I may be wrong and I apologize if I am. Someone wlse will sound off with the real knowledge!!

I have a 60 C10 that have the 2" drop spindles installed. I bought the truck that way, but I'm sure I've seen them in the catalogs for 60-62.

Fort Knox, Yes they do have 2 1/2 inch drop spindles for 60-62 and 63-66 from LMC.

LMC used to get their drop springs from CPP, Classic Performance Products. If you buy directly from CPP it will save you some hard earned cash.

And it looks like the drop spindles are also cheaper from CPP...

You might want to send those parts back, order the parts from CPP, and put the savings in your pocket.

I just bought the drop spindles and springs from LMC. I could not find the 4 inch drop springs for 60-62 though CPP. Do they sell them???
