It feels like you're talking about a pickup IFS swap. The frame on a '59 is too wide to make this an easy thing to do. I'm not sure how wide the track is on a '59, but on a '48 to '54 the IFS is enough wider you'll have to find offset wheels to keep the tires under the fenders.
If you are talking about a Camaro or other IFS swap that's a whole different project.
