Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2002 Posts: 30 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2002 Posts: 30 | Hi Folks, I've decided to use clutch master and slave cylinders from '88-'91 C/K series trucks to fab up a couple of different hydraulic conversion setups. I've chosen these parts, as they seem sturdy, easy mounting, easy plumbing, they seem to have a fairly long amount of travel at the slave and buying the parts new is pretty cheap. My problem is that I've not found a complete setup in any of the boneyards around here to take travel (master and slave) measurements from. I need to know the full travel of the master in a stock setup and how much travel it produces at the slave. Once I have these measurements, it should be fairly simple to achieve the different amounts of slave travel needed for my different applications by "adjusting" where I put the master pushrod on my pedal. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanx In Advance, Gene
