Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 355 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 355 | Hi i just hauled home my 59 chevy truck and its as basic and original as you can get then i hit something that sumped me i am fairly familair with the 235 but when i opened the hood on this one it had the widest valve cover i have ever seen on a inline 6 it looked like a bbc valve cover lol was there another bigger inline offered in 59?

The 1959 235 and 261 had a valve cover that have the same width as all 1954-163 235/261 valve covers (there were some differences in the valve covers over those years, but no differences in widths).
