In my '61 I have a light bulb in the holder for the heater switches. It lights with the dash lights to provide illumination for those switches in the dark. I also have a single bulb which seems to go to the bottom of the dash above a hole in the bottom lip of the dash. It illuminates straight down to the floor. There is no holder for it, so I have some duct tape which doesn't hold the ground so well. The bulb is intended to light the floor hump for shifting, etc. Can someone explain what mechanism is necessary for the correct installation of that bulb ? Or even better, a picture of how it's supposed to be retained?
