I just bought a re-built Carb for my 235. I bought the automatic choke option this time. I just noticed that on this model the fuel line enters the carb 90 degrees ofset as compared to the manual choke. Do I just bend the fuel line to fit or was there a different line for this model. Carter shows nothing..My guess is I'm bending a new one.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Keith

They changed all of them to the side inlet with a filter inside in about 1960.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

We ran into the same thing going from manual to auto choke. Just bought a 90 degree street elbow and the right adapters and made it work. Had to bend the lines a hair, but not much.
