Hy mem, a little geyser out of the master cylinder when bleeding the brakes is normal, it happens when the piston seal uncovers the compensating port, on it's way back to the at rest position. I would remove the upper bleed screw on the hydrovac, and make sure it is not plugged solid with dirt, hope that helps.
