Will a v-8 bolt to the bell housing in my 1960 in place of the 235 i just cant afford to fix the 235 now it has bad bearings and i have a running small block

Hy 1960 Apache 40, unfortunately, no a V8 will not bolt up to a 6 cylinder bellhousing. Also if my memory is correct that year truck uses a hydraulic clutch, so you're looking for a rather rare hydraulic clutch V8 bellhousing, I think they were used 1960-62, hope that helps.

Thanks for the info yes my truck has a hydraulic clutch, Maybe ill just save my pennies to fix the 235 id like to keep that in it anyway
