Tom Meyers in Miami, OK usually has some for sell. Search this forum for his phone number. Jim Carter's website has a tech tip on this swap.

Or is the 5.14 a 14-bolt unit? :confused: | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | This is an Eaton style rear end with a removeable center differential.It unblots from the front of the axle housing and drops out after you pull the axle shafts out and drop the driveline.Remove the ten bolts and it will nearly fall out.You should be able to drain most of the gear oil by removing the lower three bolts first. .I have not found any 3:73 gears yet but I am told they were an option for the big-block pick-ups and suburbans(3/4 ton)
