(previous owner not my taste.) nevertheless, looking to replace them with a more current bench seat. I have kids so i am looking for something with room for 3 with seatbelts. Any suggestions on what will fit with little fab? | | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 | My 1965 has 1991 a full size Chevy Truck bench seat. Seems to be the correct width and the seat brackets seem to fit well. Also has the little flip down arm rest for the driver.
I didn't do the installation. Previous owner did it.
Not sure if the width of cab is the same on a 55, vs. a 65 though. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 486 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 486 | If it's a second series '55, (same as '56 through '59) seats from an '87 up chevy pickup fit. They're a little wider but there's room for them.
