I guess the 55 chevy 265 engine were painted gray ?? Does anybody know what gray ,and where I might get some spray cans of this color???? Thanks Ted

Try Wal Mart or any FLAPS. They should have engine paint in rattle cans. The Wal Mart near my house has a large selection of Dupli-Color engine enamel.

That grey is hard to find. I think you can get it at jim carter truck parts.

The Chevy blue (not the GMC blue) is what I went with, and the only place I could find it locally in a rattle can was at NAPA.

check out Bill Hirsch auto, has a light grey paint, very close to the chevy grey.. Used on my 235, and looks great. Easy to spray,and looks great brushed on. Great customer service, reasonable pricing.
