I have a 283 on the engine stand and I am adapting a rice burner A/C pump to it. Could some one tell me which way the crank turns looking at it from the front? I am in no position at this time to turn the engine over manually to check it.
Thanks and
Merry Christmas evryone.

taz101,

My vote is clockwise. Isn't the fan laying in the corner?

Most honda engines rotate opposite to American iron. Atomarc is correct on 283 rotation.

The 4-banger Hondas turn the other way (excl S2000) but the sixes are, uh, 'normal' for us bolters.
