I'm the Chief Mate on a ship and the sailors requested I buy them a metal primer called Corroseal. It goes on like milk, but dries to a black/purple coating. I had never heard of the stuff, but it looks pretty good after it dries. At $40/ gallon its alot cheaper than POR-15. Anybody ever used this stuff on their vehicles?

it's a rust converter, not a paint, the 'black' dry finish is actually the converted rust and needs a top coat .... may not be the thing to be using for your application wink
