The dip stick tube is 7" from block to top/dip stick is 14 1/8" from tip to where it meets the bottom edge of the dip stick cap. The cap goes down over the top of tube approx. 1/4") Hope this helps. | | |

Looks like some calibration may be in order. My tube was busted when I got th engine. Any other 261 guys have this info on theirs.
