My steering wheel is cracked and deteriorating and leaves black stuff on my hands whenever the weather is humid. I really would like to get one of those new steering wheels.
Is anybody here familiar with where those are sold at???

Sand it down and prime it, sand down the primer and paint it. I like epoxy paint from a spray can, its easy to get all around the wheel. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 334 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2005 Posts: 334 | There are also kits that you can buy (Eastwood is one vendor that has them) to repair cracks in the steering wheel. That is what I used on mine. I'd rather have original parts instead of repop whenever possible.

Sprayed it with 2 pack primer and topcoat. I'm pleased with the way it's turned out. Here's a picture.
