I have a 52. I know it was a dark blue, so I'm about 99% sure it was Mariner Blue. I remember reading someone that the interiors for the 52's were a Champagne color, but I'm not sure. I looked at the sticky for this forum and couldn't find Champagne. Is the dash and everything painted that same color? My cab is getting worked on right now, and once its done, they're going ahead and painting it, so I need to know, in detail, what everything should be to be back original. Thanks so much!!!!!

I don't know what "I looked at the sticky for this forum and couldn't find Champagne." means, but did you use the search feature and search the Paint and Body Shop forum for +Champagne?

Denny Graham and others have posted a lot of information about that color and about what interior parts get painted what color.

The Paint Tech-Tip lists original names (used by Chevrolet). I do not think that "Champagne" was the name originally used by Chevrolet; however, the search I suggested above should give a lot of useful information about the Champagne color (I see you have now posted a link to one thread).

Here is what I did, after more than a year of researching the correct color for the interior of my 52. I ordered a quart of the "correct" paint from Jim Carters. Once I got the paint I did a spray out sheet, and matched that to the 3 remaining original spots of paint in the cab. It was very close, and I liked the look of the paint. So I took a sample of paint and the spray out sheet to the good folks at Hightower paint supply here locally. I told them take there time and match the paint as close as possible. After two weeks they called and said come take alook. They had matched the paint almost exactly. I ordered a gallon ( I paid less that 1/2 for the gallon than the quart) Had them mix them together. I know 5 quarts is a lot, but this was my first time painting a vehicle. It turned out very well indeed. Also I didn't use a hardener, as I wanted a flatter finish. Also as a side note the original can got wet and the lable peeled off. Underneath the Carter lable was a Sherwin Williams lable. No code or name of the paint, but maybe an avenue to explore.
